Elizabeth V | Denver Metro Moms Blog

Founder, Owner, Director of Advancement

Elizabeth is a born and raised Kansas girl who has been enjoying Colorado since she was a child, before moving to this beautiful state a decade ago. Elizabeth recently transitioned from her sweet downtown job as a full-time Marketing & Communications Director at an IT firm, to a work at home gig, so she can spend more time with her family, while running DMMB and her marketing and communications consulting business.

Elizabeth and her husband are blessed with a four year old son and feisty one year old daughter who keep them on their toes! Aside from all things mom in the metro area, Elizabeth is passionate about getting outside, traveling as much as possible, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, cooking with her family, remodeling projects, fresh flowers, watching sports with her husband, and good food — usually covered in hot sauce! When she’s not spending time with her family, you can find her enjoying laughs and wine with friends, curled up with a good book, and exploring our beautiful state!

Kerri H. | DMMB

Marketing Director

Kerri is a first time mom, sports enthusiast and coffee junkie who is thrilled to have finally planted some roots in SE Aurora. She and her husband moved to Colorado last summer with their daughter who was two months old at the time {cue the coffee addiction}.  The move from Southern California was the third move in as many years and Denver was on the top of the list of where to settle down and raise a family.

Originally from Indiana {but a Boilermaker}, Kerri met her husband in Indianapolis where they worked together in the hospitality industry and were eventually married in 2013. In her pre-mom life Kerri enjoyed a successful career in sales and marketing but was lucky enough to be able to trade in her quota for diapers when their daughter was born.

This stay-at-home mom is always searching for new adventures for her family. Kerri keeps busy with her non-napping baby girl by visiting the library, walking at Cherry Creek State Park, taking various baby classes, and exploring all that the metro area has to offer.

Sara B.

sara

Managing Editor

Sara is a Denver native – a proud graduate of East High and UC Denver. She used to be in the IT biz, but retired from the office job to stay home when her twin boys were born.

In addition to her boys, she just had a baby girl and is surprised about how much easier and harder it is the second (third?) time around, but is doing her best to keep it all together.

She is married to Mark – they’ve shared 7 years of wedded bliss but compliment each other so well, you’d think it was many more!

Sara has an affinity for the color green, loves music, loves food, loves her fur baby Dash, is great at styling hair with BBQ sauce, and would be a very formidable trivia opponent!

In her free time, Sara is the brave and dedicated woman who acts as the Denver Metro Moms Blog Managing Editor! She makes sure we cross the t’s, dot the i’s, and never mistake there for they’re or their!

Sara also regularly contributes to DMMB

Lindsey F. | Denver Metro Moms Blog

Social Media Director

Lindsey is a stay-at-home-mom to two beautiful girls, two-year-old Rory and one-year-old Scout. She is a former kindergarten teacher and has been married to her Japanese-Brazilian husband for 8 years. She and her husband have also lived in Dallas and New Hampshire, but like Colorado best.

When she’s not explaining why cookies don’t count as a healthy snack, or convincing her toddler to wear boots in the snow, Lindsey enjoys reading, making lists, and pinning projects on Pinterest she’ll probably never attempt. She also enjoys traveling (or used to before strollers and car seats were involved), baking (but not cooking), and watching HGTV. If her husband were writing this, he would probably say she is an expert household manager and drinks too much iced coffee. If her two- year-old daughter were writing this, she would probably say her mom is slightly obsessed with car seat safety and makes really good cinnamon toast.

Lindsey is very excited to share her perspective on all things motherhood with other Denver-area moms!
