Denver Metro Moms Blog Marketing Director

Running Denver’s fastest growing online (and offline) parenting resource is quite a bit of work, and we are looking for someone to join our staff! We work side by side with local and national businesses each day to bring the latest products and services to Denver metro moms through giveaways, reviews, and unique campaigns.

Here’s what you need to know:

Time Commitment:

5-15 hours/week; can be done from the comfort of your own home and often during the evenings or nap times.

Summary of Role:

  • Manages and responds to incoming advertising inquiries
  • Solicits new advertisers that would be pertinent to local moms
  • Creates advertising campaigns meeting the needs of the advertiser
  • Works with sponsoring businesses and blog contributors to gather all campaign-related media and content.
  • Delegates and/or executes all details of all sponsored campaigns
  • Assists in selling sponsorship packages for events
  • Builds supportive, ongoing relationships with sponsors
  • Responds to all emails in a timely manner (48 hours max)
  • Regularly meets mutually agreed upon monthly sales goals
  • Represents Denver Metro Moms Blog in a positive and professional manner at all times

Qualifications:

  • Passion for and familiarity with area moms and local businesses
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous business experience (sales or advertising/marketing experience preferred)
  • Demonstrated reliability, timeliness, attention to detail, and success in achieving goals

Compensation: We value your time and will discuss a commission-based compensation package upon job offer.

Denver Metro Moms Blog Events Manager

We’re taking this online community OFFLINE too, with several awesome local events! We’re talking DMMB’s First Cookies with Santa, nationally sponsored events,  playdates, Moms Night Out, and more! With these fun opportunities comes a lot of planning, and we’re looking for that person who loves to tackle all the details that go into making these events amazing!

Here’s What You Need To Know:

Time Commitment:

  • Average 5 – 15 hours/week depending on event schedules

Summary of Role:

  • Brainstorm new ideas for Denver Metro Moms Blog events
  • Along with the Owners, serve as point of contact for all Denver Metro Moms Blog events
  • Cultivate relationships with event partners via phone, email and social media, continually brainstorming and pursuing new opportunities
  • With guidance from the Owners, own and manage all aspects of swag, giveaway, food, and table sponsors for Denver Metro Moms Blog events. This includes reminder emails, deadlines for delivery, updates, and post-event follow up
  • Assist in blog & social media promotion (both DMMB’s and the team’s) for swag and giveaway sponsors, as well as table sponsors, leading up to and at events
  • Solicit swag and giveaway partners, as well as table sponsors and food, for events via phone, email and social media, continually brainstorming and pursuing new partners
  • Manage the organization and timelines of events, delegate to volunteer team as needed.
  • Respond to emails in a timely manner (48 hours)
  • Represent Denver Metro Moms Blog in a positive and professional manner at all times

Qualifications:

  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Passion for and familiarity with area moms and local businesses
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous event planning experience is a HUGE plus
  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on commitments
